Affordable DJ's is not responsible for the DJ’s conduct or for any resulting damage, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
The DJ agrees to the following:
1) That you are representing Affordable DJ's on any job that we book you on, and will not be promoting any other company during an event under contract.
2) The DJ will perform to the best of their ability and in attire that is suitable for the engagement.
The DJ will not be under the influence of any alcohol or non-prescription drugs during an engagement. The DJ will arrive 1 hour before start time of every event.
3) The DJ will notify Dylan by text message @ 727-366-3402, confirming arrival at event one hour prior to start time of event. If Dylan does NOT receive a text message (or call) from the dj confirming his arrival or whereabouts within 45 minutes prior to the scheduled event, and Dylan cannot reach the DJ, a new DJ may be dispatched to the event, if one is available, and compensation will go to the dispatched DJ.
4) After DJ signs on for an event, they need to contact client within 48 hours (using their preferred method of communication). is is recommend that you call, text and email the client. Confirm in 48 hrs by text to Dylan of successful communication to client.
5) Unless the DJ is hospitalized, deceased, or has an extreme documentable emergency, the DJ is expected to be at the contracted event. An artist agreement will be signed for each event. If the DJ’s vehicle breaks down on the way to an event, the DJ is to call a cab or tow truck or get a friend to get them to the event of which we will reimburse the DJ reasonable expenses with a paid receipt.
6) If a DJ fails to show up for an event otherwise, it is likely that they will be subject to legal liability by the client or Affordable DJs. .Additionally if the DJ fails to show for an event under contract, Affordable DJ's reserves the right to exercise an option to void out any other future contracts with said DJ.
7) DJ is to use their own professional equipment and CD’s. Back up power amp, mic and music playing device required. Failure to fulfill the event due to equipment failure without having backup equipment will result in the DJ being liable for any portion of the DJ fee that the contracting party requests for a refund, up to the full contract price of the event.
8) If an event is booked more than 3 months in advance, and Gerald can't reach the DJ for more than a 2 week period within a month of the event, (for example disconnected phone - disconnected email) Gerald may re-assign the DJ to protect the interests of Affordable DJ's. Once again if the event cannot be performed because no one is available, the liability falls on the original contracted DJ
9) As an independent contractor, you are responsible to collect, from the wedding party, any gratuities, parking fees, or other fees incurred at the event.
10) As an independent contractor, you are to send a PAYPAL INVOICE to AffDJsPhoto@gmail.com before you can get paid for your completed event. You MUST send that invoice to get paid.
